President, David Znidarsic (LinkedIn)

David brings more than 16 years of technology management experience and 8 years of executive leadership.

While managing multiple outsourced vendors, he conducted due diligence evaluations resulting in multiple successful acquisitions, and spearheaded innovations through the inventions and patents program. Znidarsic also led Flexera’s foray in the IoT market where it now holds the leading position for software and firmware license protection.

Znidarsic has scored a series of risk management victories saving millions of dollars: fending off software pirates, hackers, patent trolls, and aggressive auditors, while implementing a sales enablement program to ensure customer confidence in the security of the Flexera portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Znidarsic was VP of Technology focusing on M&A at Macrovision as well as VP of Engineering for a transformative acquisition by Macrovision. At Informix, he led the initiative to streamline three localized product versions into a single internationalized version. Prior to that, he held engineering management roles at Ingres, Virage, and Quintus.

Znidarsic holds a Masters in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Ohio State University, and is a patented inventor.
